What are DeFi tokens?

DeFi tokens belong to the protocols that make up Solana's on-chain financial system: exchanges and aggregators such as Jupiter and Raydium, lending markets such as Kamino, perpetuals, launchpads and the infrastructure between them. Many give holders a vote on the protocol and some share in its fees, but what a token entitles you to varies from one project to the next, so read its documentation rather than assuming.

This page ranks the Solana tokens Jupiter tags as DeFi by market cap. The tag is Jupiter's and it is broad: it includes some bridged tokens from other networks and exchange tokens as well as Solana-native protocols.

How this list is ranked and filtered

A token appears only if Jupiter has verified it, it holds at least $250,000 of liquidity on Solana and it has an organic score of 50 or more. That removes tokens whose market cap is not backed by any trading. Prices refresh live when you open the page; which tokens appear is fixed when the site is built.

For a bridged token, the market cap shown is the supply bridged to Solana, not the project's whole market cap.

How to use it safely

A large protocol is not automatically a safe token. Governance tokens can be diluted by new issuance, and a protocol's usage and its token's price often move independently.

Before you swap anything from this list, check the contract address against the project's own site, compare the liquidity column with the size of your trade (a trade worth more than a few per cent of it will move the price against you), and never swap more than you can afford to lose.

Frequently asked questions

How are these DeFi tokens ranked?

By market cap, largest first, among verified Solana tokens that Jupiter tags as DeFi and that hold at least $250,000 of liquidity with an organic score of 50 or more.

Why does a bridged token show a small market cap?

Market cap here is the token's supply on Solana times its price. For a token bridged from another network, most of the supply lives elsewhere, so the Solana figure is a fraction of the project's total.

How current is this list?

The table in the page's HTML is a snapshot from the last build, labelled with its time. When you open the page your browser re-prices the listed tokens with one request to Jupiter and the table switches to live. New entrants appear at the next build.

Is a larger DeFi protocol a safer buy?

No. This list describes what is being traded, not what will go up. We do not make price predictions or recommend tokens, and a place on this page is not an endorsement. Check the contract address, compare the liquidity with the size of your trade, and never swap more than you can afford to lose.
