USDCUSDT

Swap USD Coin (USDC) to Tether USD (USDT)

USDC and USDT are both dollar tokens, so swapping one for the other changes whose reserves stand behind your dollars, not how many you hold.

How to swap USDC to USDT

  1. 1

    Connect a wallet holding USDC

Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack in the swap panel; the wallet also needs a little SOL for the network fee, even though you are paying in USDC.

  2. 2

Confirm it is the real USDT

The panel is set to swap USDC into the verified USDT mint, Es9v…wNYB; a token with the same name at any other address is not USDT, whatever its logo.

  3. 3

    Size the USDC side

Enter the USDC amount and read the quote: it shows how much USDT you receive and the price impact of the route before anything is committed.

  4. 4

    Sign, and receive USDT

Approve the USDC swap and the USDT lands in the same wallet in about a second, with no deposit address and nothing to withdraw.

How deep the USDC/USDT market is

The figure above is the mid-market rate. What you receive depends on the size of your order: a swap large relative to the pool moves the price as it executes, which is the price impact shown in the quote. Jupiter reduces this by splitting an order across several venues, but it never disappears.

Beyond price impact, a USDC-to-USDT swap costs the Solana network fee and the Privacc fee, both already inside the quote. Full fee breakdown

What moves the USDC/USDT rate

USDC and USDT are both meant to be worth a dollar, so this rate barely moves and almost all of your cost is the route itself; on a large USDC order, the figure to watch is price impact rather than the rate.

Which network is your USDT on?

USDT exists on several networks: Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), BNB Chain (BEP-20), Arbitrum, Base and Solana. They are separate tokens that share a name, and a Solana wallet can only hold the Solana one. This page is the Solana pair.

If your USDT is on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base or Polygon, you do not need an exchange to bring it over: choose that network above the swap panel, set Solana as the destination, and LI.FI bridges and swaps it in one route. Tron is the exception. TRC-20 USDT is not supported here and has to come through an exchange.

USDC to USDT questions

How much USDT do I get for 1 USDC?

The swap panel quotes the live rate as soon as you enter an amount of USDC. The USDT you receive reflects the price impact of your order size and the fee, both shown before you sign.

Why swap USDC for USDT if both are worth a dollar?

Because not every app, exchange or payment accepts both, and some holders prefer one issuer's reserves to the other's. The rate sits near one, so a USDC-to-USDT swap costs mostly the fee and any price impact.

Do I need SOL to swap USDC to USDT?

Yes, a small amount for the network fee, even though neither USDC nor USDT is SOL.
