Swap Tether USD (USDT) to USD Coin (USDC)
USDT and USDC are both dollar tokens, so swapping one for the other changes whose reserves stand behind your dollars, not how many you hold.
Going the other way? Swap USDC to USDT
How to swap USDT to USDC
- 1
Connect a wallet holding USDT
Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack in the swap panel; the wallet also needs a little SOL for the network fee, even though you are paying in USDT.
- 2
Confirm it is the real USDC
The panel is set to swap USDT into the verified USDC mint, EPjF…Dt1v; a token with the same name at any other address is not USDC, whatever its logo.
- 3
Size the USDT side
Enter the USDT amount and read the quote: it shows how much USDC you receive and the price impact of the route before anything is committed.
- 4
Sign, and receive USDC
Approve the USDT swap and the USDC lands in the same wallet in about a second, with no deposit address and nothing to withdraw.
How deep the USDT/USDC market is
The figure above is the mid-market rate. What you receive depends on the size of your order: a swap large relative to the pool moves the price as it executes, which is the price impact shown in the quote. Jupiter reduces this by splitting an order across several venues, but it never disappears.
Beyond price impact, a USDT-to-USDC swap costs the Solana network fee and the Privacc fee, both already inside the quote. Full fee breakdown
What moves the USDT/USDC rate
USDT and USDC are both meant to be worth a dollar, so this rate barely moves and almost all of your cost is the route itself; on a large USDT order, the figure to watch is price impact rather than the rate.
Which network is your USDC on?
USDC exists on several networks: Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), BNB Chain (BEP-20), Arbitrum, Base and Solana. They are separate tokens that share a name, and a Solana wallet can only hold the Solana one. This page is the Solana pair.
If your USDC is on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base or Polygon, you do not need an exchange to bring it over: choose that network above the swap panel, set Solana as the destination, and LI.FI bridges and swaps it in one route. Tron is the exception. TRC-20 USDC is not supported here and has to come through an exchange.

USDT to USDC questions
How much USDC do I get for 1 USDT?
The swap panel quotes the live rate as soon as you enter an amount of USDT. The USDC you receive reflects the price impact of your order size and the fee, both shown before you sign.
Why swap USDT for USDC if both are worth a dollar?
Because not every app, exchange or payment accepts both, and some holders prefer one issuer's reserves to the other's. The rate sits near one, so a USDT-to-USDC swap costs mostly the fee and any price impact.
Do I need SOL to swap USDT to USDC?
Yes, a small amount for the network fee, even though neither USDT nor USDC is SOL.
