USDCSPYx

Swap USD Coin (USDC) to SP500 xStock (SPYx)

Buying SPYx with USDC turns a fixed number of dollars into a position that rises and falls with SPYx. SPYx is a tokenised stock: it tracks securities an issuer holds, carries no shareholder rights, and trades around the clock while the market it follows does not. SPYx in one line: Tokenised exposure to the S&P 500 index, tradeable on Solana.

How to swap USDC to SPYx

  1. 1

    Connect a wallet holding USDC

Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack in the swap panel; the wallet also needs a little SOL for the network fee, even though you are paying in USDC.

  2. 2

Confirm it is the real SPYx

The panel is set to swap USDC into the verified SPYx mint, XsoC…DF2W; a token with the same name at any other address is not SPYx, whatever its logo.

  3. 3

    Size the USDC side

Enter the USDC amount and read the quote: it shows how much SPYx you receive and the price impact of the route before anything is committed.

  4. 4

    Sign, and receive SPYx

Approve the USDC swap and the SPYx lands in the same wallet in about a second, with no deposit address and nothing to withdraw.

How deep the USDC/SPYx market is

The figure above is the mid-market rate. What you receive depends on the size of your order: a swap large relative to the pool moves the price as it executes, which is the price impact shown in the quote. Jupiter reduces this by splitting an order across several venues, but it never disappears.

Beyond price impact, a USDC-to-SPYx swap costs the Solana network fee and the Privacc fee, both already inside the quote. Full fee breakdown

What moves the USDC/SPYx rate

Against USDC, this rate is the dollar price of SPYx turned upside down: the more SPYx costs, the less of it each USDC buys.

For a tokenised stock, what moves it is the market it tracks while that market is open, and the on-chain order book alone when it is not.

Which network is your USDC on?

USDC exists on several networks: Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), BNB Chain (BEP-20), Arbitrum, Base and Solana. They are separate tokens that share a name, and a Solana wallet can only hold the Solana one. This page is the Solana pair.

If your USDC is on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base or Polygon, you do not need an exchange to bring it over: choose that network above the swap panel, set Solana as the destination, and LI.FI bridges and swaps it in one route. Tron is the exception. TRC-20 USDC is not supported here and has to come through an exchange.

USDC to SPYx questions

How much SPYx do I get for 1 USDC?

The swap panel quotes the live rate as soon as you enter an amount of USDC. The SPYx you receive reflects the price impact of your order size and the fee, both shown before you sign.

Does it matter whether I pay for SPYx with USDC or SOL?

The SPYx price is set by the pools at the moment you ask, not by which token you pay with. The real difference is what you give up: paying in USDC spends dollars that were holding still, while paying in SOL gives up an asset that moves.

Do I need SOL to swap USDC to SPYx?

Yes, a small amount for the network fee, even though neither USDC nor SPYx is SOL.
